Identifying spam/fake emails claiming to be from AIT

Since there are many spam/fake emails claiming to be originated from anyone in AIT, we would like to provide following guideline to identify whether is a spam/fake email:

If both, the ‘From’ and ‘Reply-to’ addresses of the email do not use AIT domain (@ait.ac.th or @ait.asia), it is definitely a spam/fake email and therefore please report it by clicking ‘Report Scam’ icon of the Gmail’s web interface and then delete ignore it (please note, you may need to look at the header of the email in order to find the ‘Reply-to’
address).

The same method can also be used to identify an email claiming to be from other organizations/companies. If the email addresses of the ‘From’ and ‘Reply-to’ are not from the domain of that organization/company, it is a spam/fake email.
